IT Professionals of Career Change Training Center work at DP Tech Group, an IT consulting firm based out of Carol Stream, IL. DP Tech Group was established in 2003 and repairs thousands of computers for residential and small to mid-sized businesses every year. Career Change Training Center’s IT Professionals receive specialized on-the-job-training in a busy computer repair center on part time basis for a period of six months. Their job responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving system issues and interacting with customers to build excellent communication skills.
DP Tech Group’s work environment is dynamic; IT Professionals are trained on a wide range of hardware and software not found in a traditional work environment. While most companies standardize their hardware, operating systems and software in order to streamline their network and their support services, IT professionals working in such environments have limited knowledge of hardware and software. An IT Professional working for the same company for a period of two years has limited knowledge compared to an IT professional that has 2 years of experience working for four different companies.
DP Tech Group works on all major brands of desktops and laptops. IT Professionals also work with all major operating systems and a wide range of software. Over the six months we can say with confident that our students have the equivalent knowledge of someone with 2 years of experience working in the IT Field for a single employer. Our IT Professionals are experts in the area of Desktop Support.
We challenge employers to interview and test the knowledge of our IT Professionals. They are fully capable of performing on the job and also have excellent communication skills. Their six months of experience is equivalent to 2 years of experience for most IT professionals. This is our open challenge to you to test the skills of our IT Professionals.
